Recently released WWE star changes his name, AEW move seems likely

Recently released WWE Superstar Luke Harper is getting ready for the next phase of his wrestling career by changing his name.

Harper has changed his Instagram username to @BrodieLee to reflect the name he will likely use wherever he lands in the wrestling business. As of now, his Twitter name is still @LukeHarperWWE but I would guess that it will change soon.

The former WWE Superstar applied for the Brodie Lee trademark in November in anticipation of his exit from WWE. That is the name he was using on the independent scene several years ago. As we’ve written about in the past, many people in the business believe he will land in All Elite Wrestling since he has many friends there. Arn Anderson has given him high praise and those who know him say he has the potential to do great things if he’s given the chance.

Harper is under a 90-day non-compete so the earliest he can appear for another promotion is after the first week of March.

Harper has not posted anything on Instagram since the day he was granted his release from WWE.
