It looks like a former WWE star is locked in with AEW beginning this March.
It’s been speculated for months that Luke Harper would end up in All Elite Wrestling and now Dave Meltzer is reporting that he is expected to sign and debut on the 3/28 show from Rochester, NY. That also happens to be his hometown, so it’s smart to debut him on that show. The news getting out could also help with ticket sales.
Meltzer noted that Harper could legally start on February 12 but it’s better to wait until the show in Rochester since he’ll get a big reaction.
As previously noted, Harper recently trademarked the name Brodie Lee, so it looks like he will go back to using that name as he did when he wrestled on the independent scene several years ago.
