Released WWE star sends a warning to AEW

Former WWE star EC3 was back at it again on social media with a new video that continued to have fans guessing as to where he could end up next in his post-WWE career.

After teasing a jump to Impact Wrestling and ROH, he now has fans thinking he could be headed to AEW as he sent a warning to some of the wrestlers under contract with the promotion.

While talking about the tumultuous state of the world, he made references to some stars such as Jungle Boy, The Elite, Inner Circle, Hangman Page, Dark Order, “Broken” [a reference to Matt Hardy], Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and more.

EC3 is shown with the AEW logo in the background just like he did with ROH a few weeks ago. At the end of the video, EC3 stated the following:

“There is no omega when you are an alpha. You think for yourself, you fight for yourself, you control your own narrative. If you don’t, then you’re just part of the con, you are more than elite, you are free, and they have been warned.”

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on which promotion he plans to sign with. For now, he’s waiting out his 90-day non-compete clause to expire with WWE on July 15th. This is an important date as that’s just three days before Slammiversary.

Impact Wrestling has been teasing that a former world champion would be making an appearance.
