REPORT: AEW Is Planning Australian Stadium Show For 2025

AEW is planning to hold another international event in a new market, this time in 2025.

As previously broken by Fightful, the promotion is reportedly planning to hold a stadium show in Arlington, Texas, in 2025. The likely venue host would be Globe Life Field, the home of the Texas Rangers. Although not confirmed, they will likely return to Wembley Stadium for their third straight show in the UK next August as well.

The Sporting News reports the promotion is planning to hold a show at a stadium venue in Australia in 2025. Plans have already advanced as the promotion has scouted venues on the east coast of the country. As potential host sites, venues that have been looked at include Sydney’s Allianz Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

The entertainment company TEG will support the AEW event. The product currently airs on ESPN in the country and New Zealand.

AEW has yet to comment on the story.
