Ric Flair has given his side of the story about an incident over the weekend where he was asked to leave Piesanos in Florida following a $1500 meal.
In a post on Twitter, the WWE Hall of Famer stated he was asked to leave due to a disagreement with the kitchen manager. He claimed the manager was spending too much time in the bathroom.
Co-owner of Piesanos, Jerry Roberts, provided a statement about asking the WWE Hall of Famer to leave the establishment before footage of it happening came out on TikTok, where Flair insulted a man and insisted that he didn’t do one thing wrong and denied saying any cuss word.
A day after the video came out, Flair issued a statement to The Gainsville Sun, noting that he was approached by a member of the staff while going into the bathroom. Flair asked him to leave because he doesn’t shake hands or take photos in bathrooms.
Flair alleged the man used the stall, but he could be seen through the cracks “texting away.” Once leaving the stall, Flair alleged a female employee called him a “peeping tom” and a “creep.”
Flair said, “I’m not going to tolerate that, and you wouldn’t either. That’s a pretty offensive remark. I’ll be quite honest with you, I was pissed because I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s my word against the kitchen employee, and it makes no sense. I admit to everything I said. I have no problem with it because I was mad.”
Roberts said that the restaurant rejected the tip. Instead, he paid the employees. Flair said he is considering filing a lawsuit before adding, “I have the money to buy the restaurant. It’ll be called Ric Flair’s Italian Bistro.”
