AEW Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina will feature a homecoming for legendary tag team The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express this Saturday at the Bojangles Coliseum. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson will be appearing in a segment originally intended for Ric Flair.
PWInsider reported that Flair was slated for a cameo appearance on the show but is no longer scheduled to be present. No reason was given for the change.
This news comes amidst recent comments made by Flair praising AEW President Tony Khan. In an interview on The Five Star Podcast, Flair stated, “I think he’s one of the greatest, not just great promoter, I think he’s one of the greatest people, human beings I’ve ever met. Very caring, genuine guy. And he’s got more money than God.”
As seen below, The Rock ‘n’ Roll are also expected to appear at Dynamite on Knoxville, TN on 1/22.
