Ricky Starks sets the record straight about knee injury rumors

Ricky Starks is on the sidelines for three months due to a fractured neck. However, he’s not dealing with a knee injury despite some rumors coming out on Thursday.

Starks suffered the neck injury while wrestling Hangman Page on the April 21st AEW Dynamite. It happened when he took a german suplex from Page, but he landed badly on his neck. To his credit, he worked the rest of the match.

On Thursday, there were rumors that he may need knee surgery as when AEW officials were checking on him, they thought he may have had a knee injury. That is simply not the case.

Both Starks and Taz, who is his manager, took to Twitter to dismiss the rumors.

Starks wrote, “inaccurate. Nothing wrong with my knees,” while Taz simply added, “not true.”

Brian Cage, who is part of Team Taz, is slated to take on Adam Page in a singles match at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view event later this month.
