Fans have been wondering when they will see Ricky Starks back on AEW television after being away for more than a month.
Starks’ last match was in late March when Starks had a scary moment during a Collision match that saw him team with Big Bill against Top Flight in an AEW Tag Team tournament quarterfinal. Although Starks took a pele kick to the back of the head by Darius Martin, he continued through with Top Flight going over.
Bill and Starks were originally slated to win the match and face FTR in the tournament. Since then, Bill has moved into being a singles star while training under Chris Jericho on television.
As previously reported, Starks was said to have been backstage at last week’s Dynamite in Jacksonville, where he was getting evaluated by AEW’s medical staff. The AEW star made it clear on Twitter that the evaluation had nothing to do with a potential injury. Instead, it was due to an annual physical.
It’s still unclear when Starks will be back on television.
