AEW hasn’t used Ricky Starks in months, despite his claim that he’s ready to go and wants to be used.
He has been in the headlines after making a recent appearance for GCW only to be pulled from their event on 12/14 in Los Angeles, his unannounced match on 12/28 in Seattle, and his unannounced match on 1/19 at The Hammerstein Ballroom. The reported reason is due to comments made by Effy, who performs for promotion, towards Tony Khan’s father, Shad.
Starks worked his first match since March on November 24th at Glory Pro WrestlePocalypse. Now, he has another booking lined up. House of Glory announced that Starks would wrestle Mike Santana on January 17 in Chicago for the HOG World Heavyweight Title.
