Rob Van Dam has been getting some pushback from fans over his comments about AEW.
The former WWE Champion made his Impact Wrestling return when he teamed longtime friend Sabu when they worked the “United We Stand” event on April 4th during WrestleMania against the Lucha Bros.
This is when it was revealed that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion had signed a new deal with the company that is now rebranded as Impact Wrestling.
At the Bound for Glory PPV event last month, Rob Van Dam turned heel and recently cut a promo about how without him, there would be no Kenny Omega, Daniel Bryan and The Young Bucks.
RVD continued to take shots at AEW through his official Twitter account:
“People who think their opinions are facts are really ignorant. According to my values- which are the only ones that matter to me-Impact is way better than whatever else you’re marking out on. Most of those All Petite cuts don’t even look like professional wrestlers.”
“Truthfully, I was a small 235 lb wrestler because the average guys were closer to 300 lbs and I was the only one creating and doing RVD moves. Now the average wrestler is 190 lbs and they all do my s–t. Elite= petite.”
