As noted earlier, Santos Escobar vs. Karrion Kross was pulled from tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
During the broadcast, Escobar said that he was not going to fight Kross this week because the match was only going to happen on his time.
Shortly after, William Regal announced that the match will happen next week. It will not be for the Cruiserweight Championship but if he doesn’t show up next week then he will be stripped of the title.
At this point, there is still no word on the real reason why Escobar was off the show. If he does not wrestle next week then that would indicate that there’s an issue at play, possibly an injury.
