Saraya Confirms Her AEW Contract Is Up This Year, Leaves Door Open For Potential WWE Return

In the summer of 2024, Saraya signed a new deal with AEW after signing with the company in 2021. This will see her remain under contract through September 2025. Some fans think she may entertain the idea of returning to WWE once that time comes.

Saraya hasn’t been on AEW TV in a few months, as she was last seen on the October 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she worked a 4-way AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Match against Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, and Nyla Rose. The reason for the hiatus is due to her asking for time off.

TMZ.com has an interview with Saraya, who noted her deal with AEW is up this September.”I love WWE,” she told TMZ. “I appreciate everybody there. They made me, they gave me my career and I’m just appreciative of that. One day, who knows, [but] I love my time in AEW.”

Saraya also stated that she’s ready to wrestle and is open to wrestling TBS Champ Mercedes Mone. Saraya worked her last match in WWE when working a multi-woman match with Mone at a house show that ended after Saraya suffered a neck injury after taking a kick to the back.
