After not being used by WWE for a while, the company decided not to renew Saraya’s (Paige) contract, so she started a new chapter in her pro wrestling career and joined AEW.
The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion left the company back in July before making her AEW debut on the Dynamite: Grand Slam episode. Saraya has been cleared for in-ring action in AEW.
Saraya was nowhere to be seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. A fan asked her on Twitter why she wasn’t used. Saraya answered the fan, revealing that she had to travel to the UK to visit her family. She wrote:
“Sorry!! I’ll be back in next week in Cinci. Had to take a trip home to UK!”
As previously noted, Saraya recently fired back at ‘dirtsheets,’ podcasters, and Jim Cornette.
