Saraya: I’ll Be Back At Work Eventually, But AEW Doesn’t Need Me Right Now

Saraya has been away from AEW television since October. She previously revealed that her absence is due to personal time off.

While recently appearing on the Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, the former AEW Women’s Champion was asked about a potential in-ring return. She doesn’t feel like the promotion needs her right now.

Saraya stated, “Yeah. I feel like at this age and time, there isn’t really a spot for me right now. I feel Iike everybody’s got their own thing….I love wrestling, I will be back at work at some point. But right now, it’s good. They don’t need me. They don’t need me.”

Saraya recently indicated that she is nearing the end of her wrestling career. For more on that, click here.
