Serena Deeb is the latest wrestler to sign a full-time deal with All Elite Wrestling.
She made her promotional debut on the September 2nd episode of Dynamite where she lost to NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa, which marked her first match since 2017.
She’ll also be working this Tuesday’s episode of AEW Dark by wrestling Kilynn King in a singles match.
Before signing with AEW, Deeb had been working for WWE as she joined the company in 2017 to become a coach at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. She also worked that year’s Mae Young Classic tournament.
She departed from WWE earlier this year when the company decided to let go of wrestlers, staff, and employees due to budget cuts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
