Following the brutal chair shot from Shawn Spears to the head of Cody Rhodes at AEW Fyter Fest, there was a backstage confrontation between spears and Rhodes’ friend MJF. Spears said he would address his actions but he would only talk to Jim Ross.
Spears got his wish because Ross will speak with Spears on the first episode of “The Road To All Out.” The news was first announced on All Elite Wrestling’s Twitter account. It certainly looks like Spears vs. Rhodes will be one of the top matches at All Out in Chicago.
However, before All Out, Spears must step into the ring at Fight For The Fallen on Saturday night in Jacksonville, Florida. He will team with Sammy Guevara and MJF against Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin and Joey Janela. Based on what MJF said at the Fyter Fest post-show media scrum, it looks like there might be trouble brewing at Fight For The Fallen.
