Matt Hardy shared his high opinion of AEW star Willow Nightingale, focusing on her unique and genuine connection with the audience as her greatest asset.
“Yeah. I mean, I think one of Willow’s greatest qualities. It’s just that her personality, her positivity, is just infectious. You know, it really is like when you meet her, when you see her in real time, real life, you’re just drawn to her,” Hardy said on “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy.”
He continued, “She’s just one of those people that has that ability to do and, you know, she doesn’t necessarily have the standard, you know, look of like a pro wrestler. It’s a little different, it’s a little unique, but just her personality is so infectious. You have to pay attention to her. You have to be invested in what she’s doing, because she just pulls you in. She reels you in every single time. And I think that’s what’s special about her, more than anything else.”
Hardy also highlighted Nightingale’s genuineness: “Yeah, I mean, but her energy and just her persona is so authentic. You know, she’s so genuine, and it’s hard not to be invested in her. She’s just so real. She comes off as so real, and you can tell she is not performing a character, she’s just being her, and her energy is infectious.”
