SPOILER: Absent AEW Star Expected To Return At Dynasty

Kyle O’Reilly is set to make his return to AEW television tonight.

According to Bodyslam and Cassidy Haynes, O’Reilly will be the mystery partner for Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong when the trio challenges The Dogs for the AEW World Trios Championships at AEW Dynasty tonight at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The challenge was set up on last night’s episode of AEW Collision, where Cassidy and Strong called out The Dogs and announced they would have a mystery partner for the match. O’Reilly last appeared on AEW television in December, when he confirmed he was dealing with a bulging neck disc injury that had sidelined him since his No Holds Barred match against Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear 2025.

Earlier this week, O’Reilly hinted at a Dynasty return during an appearance on VANCOLOUR, saying, “I really wanna be ready in time for the Vancouver pay-per-view, which is Dynasty, coming up this weekend from Rogers Arena. So wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Maybe I’ll be back in time for that.”

The Dogs, consisting of Gabe Kidd, David Finlay and Clark Connors, won the AEW World Trios Championships from JetSpeed and Mistico at this past week’s Collision taping in Edmonton, Alberta. Tonight’s match at Dynasty would be their first title defense.
