AEW taped Saturday’s Collision episode that will air on TNT after Dynamite from Duluth, Georgia, at the Gas South Arena, where the first match for the upcoming Dynasty event was teased.
On this week’s Dynamite, Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson teased a showdown as Ospreay headlined Dynamite, beating Kyle Fletcher. Once Ospreay won the match, Danielson came out to confront Ospreay, teasing the match. Not only did AEW have the Dynasty PPV date in the background.
As previously reported, this has been a dream match for AEW President Tony Khan and something he’s been wanting to do.
At Collision, it was confirmed Danielson vs. Ospreay would take place at the event from St. Louis, MO, on Sunday, April 21st. On the show, Danielson defeated Shane Taylor when Danielson won with the busaiku knee.
Ospreay entered the ring after the bout. Danielson challenged him to a match at the Dynasty pay-per-view, with Ospreay accepted the challenge.
