Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will feature one of their most stacked cards since they launched their weekly show on TNT and it looks like some special guests are backstage.
As seen below, Diamond Dallas Page and former WWE/Impact Wrestling star Austin Aries have arrived at the State Farm Arena for Dynamite. DDP is not a surprise since he lives in the area and he has appeared on Dynamite before.
Aries is interesting but just because he is backstage does not necessarily mean that he will be appearing on the show. Apparently, Aries has been training with DDP at the DDP Yoga Performance Center but, perhaps, seeing everyone backstage could open the doors for him to work with AEW in the future.
Aries has had nice things to say about AEW. In December, he noted that he is a free agent and said that Cody Rhodes is one of a handful of wrestlers he would like to step into the ring with.
Aries tweeted: “I’ll second this. And luckily I’m still a free agent. @CodyRhodes is one of a handful of men I’d love to compete against. And I’ve been digging what @AEWrestling has been doing so far, it’s like watching a new age NWA Crockett years mashed up with the best of WCW years.”
