AEW taped this Saturday’s Collision episode on Thursday night from Cincinnati. During the taping, several matches for next week’s episode of Dynamite from Knoxville, TN.
There was a Hurt Syndicate promo segment where they said they would challenge Private Party for the AEW Tag Team Titles next week in Knoxville. It was announced Samoa Joe would take on Nick Wayne on Dynamite.
This comes after Joe returned on this week’s Dynamite to make the save for HOOK from Christian Cage, Wayne, and Killswitch. He hasn’t wrestled since July.
Two segments were also confirmed for the show, and Toni Storm will “meet” Women’s Champion Mariah May ahead of their Grand Slam: Australia match. Toni became the #1 contender on Dynamite.
Finally, after Will Ospreay made the save for Kenny Omega from the Don Callis family on Dynamite, Ospreay announced that he would call out Omega on Dynamite. AEW previously confirmed Cope vs. PAC for the show.
