Sting Got a Standing Ovation After AEW Dynamite Went Off the Air

Sting got a standing ovation after tonight’s AEW Dynamite went off the air.

For those of you that missed it, Sting put on a heck of a performance in tonight’s main event. Sting and Darby Allin defeated Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara after Sting forced Jericho to tap out.

As seen in the video below, fans expressed their appreciation for Sting after the show. Sting said that he will need to get stitches in his lip because of a tooth that “seems halfway knocked out.”
During the post-show speech, Sting seemingly confirmed that it was his idea to do this match. At one point during the match, Sting did a crazy table diving spot with Guevara outside of the ring.

During the Forbidden Door post-show media scrum, Sting seemingly walked back the comments he made earlier this year about retiring in 2023 and said that All In at Wembley Stadium would not be his last match.
