WWE Hall of Famer Sting is the latest big name to be announced for an appearance at Starrcast III during AEW All Out weekend.
Starrcast III will run from Thursday, August 29th through Sunday, September 1st in Chicago during the weekend that AEW (All Elite Wrestling) holds their next pay-per-view event, All Out, which will feature Chris Jericho vs. Adam “Hangman” Page for the AEW World Title.
He appeared at Starrcast 2 last month. More names for Starrcast III will be made in the coming months. The announcement was made with this post on Twitter:
He’s an industry icon. He’s a former World Champion. He’s a Hall of Famer & we’re proud to announce him as a guest superstarr!#Starrcast is honored to welcome the man they call @Sting to Chicago, Labor Day weekend!

For years now, it appears that Sting’s career to be over. Seth Rollins wrestled Sting at the 2015 Night of Champions PPV, which was Sting’s last match after he suffered a neck injury after taking a powerbomb in the corner. He was later inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
