Sunday’s All Out was the most watched AEW pay-per-view ever

This year’s AEW All Out pay-per-view event from Chicago, IL at the NOW Arena was a big success. It generated a lot of buzz for the promotion and seemingly revenue through PPV buys.

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter this morning to note it was the most watched AEW pay-per-view ever. He wrote the following:

“Thank you to everyone who’s ordered #AEWAllOut & made it the most watched @AEW PPV ever! Thank you everyone who attended the show! If you haven’t seen it, please consider ordering the ppv; it’s ignited the passion of wrestling fans worldwide! Thank you all for making it possible!”

Kenny Omega successfully retained the AEW World Title over Christian Cage in the main event. It also featured the in-ring return of CM Punk, who beat Darby Allin, as well as marked the promotional debuts of Ruby Soho (Ruby Riott), Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole.

Early estimated PPV buys should be out later this week.
