Swerve Strickland Addresses Criticism Of Violent AEW All Out Match

Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page in an Unsanctioned Steel Cage Match took place at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event at NOW Arena in Chicago, IL, and had several extreme moments. 

During the bout, they took several bumps on a cinderblock. Swerve hit a foot stomp through a table and even used an edge of burnt wood to stab Page in the head. In the end, things got even more extreme as Page ripped the grill out of Swerve’s mouth, and used a needle then stabbed him in the mouth with it. 

Page with a chair shot to the head that knocked out Swerve. As previously reported, Strickland is taking time off from AEW. 

Strickland took to Twitter to address the criticism when he wrote, “(UN-SANC-TIONED) What did you expect? Go where others won’t go.”
