Booker T addressed Swerve Strickland’s recent Vlad TV appearance on his Hall of Fame podcast last week. Booker revealed his own prior interactions with the YouTube channel and he claimed he had declined multiple invitations to appear on Vlad TV, even when offered financial compensation. DJ Vlad shared screenshots of their conversations.
During the address, Booker T explained that he refused to participate because he was unwilling to be “exploited” or made to look foolish. The WWE Hall of Famer stated he didn’t want any negative commentary about black individuals within the wrestling industry and understood their challenges.
After Strickland lost to World Champion Jon Moxley at AEW Dynasty, Strickland addressed the live crowd, noting he doesn’t speak about representation; he goes out there and proves it. For his own amusement, he said, “F**k Booker T.”
