Tallahassee Police provide an update on Chris Jericho’s AEW World Championship

The AEW World Championship has been found but police have yet to figure out who stole it.

The Tallahassee Police department confirmed today that they were able to retrieve the belt early Wednesday. They say that “someone turned it into headquarters after finding it along the side of the road.”

There were no arrests made and investigators are asking anyone with leads to the suspect can call (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

Jericho defeated Adam Page on Saturday at the All Out pay-per-view to become the first AEW World Champion. He was seen celebrating with the title after the show and reported it stolen on Sunday while he was eating at Longhorn Steakhouse in Tallahassee.

According to the police report, Jericho said he left the title in a rented limo when the driver had to drive back to the airport after he noticed he had the wrong luggage. The belt is valued at $30,000.
