IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley successfully defended his title this week against Karl Anderson during night 1 of AEW Fyter Fest.
After the match, the cut to Lance Archer and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Archer praised Moxley for his “impeccable record” but said that he is due for his rematch for the title that he lost to Moxley a year and a half ago. The challenge was issued for next week’s Fyter Fest in Garland (Dallas), Texas.
In addition to the Texas Death Match, next week’s show will feature AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, DMD defending against Nyla Rose.
