The Acclaimed’s Max Caster received backlash after he made a rap during their entrance on the 100th episode of Dark last week that had references to Olympian Simone Biles, the 2006 Duke Lacrosse rape allegations scandal, and AEW’s Julia Hart.
This week, fans noticed that Caster has removed AEW references from his Twitter bio and The Acclaimed’s match with Hunter Knott and Rosario Grillo was pulled from Tuesday’s episode of Dark despite it being briefly advertised.
It was reported last night that Caster is still with AEW, but his appearances were “on ice” with no details about how long that would last.
The latest AEW rankings were released today and The Acclaimed were not listed. Last week, they were ranked #3.
