Last night's announcement from Big Time Wrestling about Bret Hart managing Bret Hart added fuel to the rumors that Hart will show up in AEW. There has been no confirmation that this is going to happen but there have been hints dropped on TV.

During Dave Meltzer's appearance on Sunday Night's Main Event, host Mike McGuire noted that Hart was wearing an FTR shirt recently at a Calgary Hitmen game. McGuire said, "I have some friends that recently worked with him in Calgary at a Bret Hart Appreciation Night at a Calgary Hitmen game and so the independent wrestling promotion the Prairie Wrestling Alliance, they did a show after the hockey game on the ice. Bret was there and he might have been sporting an FTR t-shirt."

Meltzer added, "I can tell you something else. The Calgary Hitmen hockey team contacted me to get jerseys for FTR and CM Punk [that] they wanted to send. None of those guys have told me anything but I presume that they all had Calgary Hitman jerseys, CM Punk and FTR both, got them in the mail in the last month."

Hart will manage FTR at the BTW event on June 10 in Webster, MA. It was noted during SNME that the last time there were rumors about someone's return to TV, Jon Moxley was announced for the GCW show at the Hammerstein Ballroom and then he returned on the AEW Dynamite episode before the GCW pay-per-view.

If Hart is going to appear in AEW, there's a lot of time to make that happen, especially if they want him involved at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view next month in Las Vegas.
