Even though AEW has its next pay-per-view event, Double Or Nothing, this weekend, and All Out is still months away, AEW President Tony Khan is already looking towards the future.
During an appearance on today’s AEW Unrestricted podcast, Khan stated the women’s Casino Battle Royale will return at All Out. This marks the only match to be announced for the show thus far and there’s still no word yet on the exact competitors for it. All Out will take place in September.
He shared the news while discussing the men’s Casino Battle Royale that will take place at Double Or Nothing.
AEW hasn’t held the women’s Casino Battle Royale since the 2019 All Out show that took part on the pre-show, which was won by Nyla Rose when she outlasted 20 other competitors to eliminate Britt Baker. Because of this win, she went on to face Riho on the first-ever Dynamite episode to crown the inaugural Women’s Champion. Riho ended up winning the match.
Competitions announced thus far for the Casino Battle Royale at Sunday’s Double Or Nothing event includes Griff Garrison, Brian Pillman, 10, Stu Grayson, Nick Comoroto, QT Marshall, Lee Johnson, Dustin Rhodes, Anthony Bowens, Max Caster, Penta El Zero Miedo, Isiah Kassidy, Marq Quen, Matt Sydal, Christian Cage, Matt Hardy, Powerhouse Hobbs, Evil Uno, Colt Cabana, Jungle Boy, and mystery participant.
