UPDATE: The Young Bucks have signed contract extensions that will keep them with AEW for the next two years and will start on January 1st. The extensions will last through 2024.
ORIGINAL: Nick and Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks have inked new deals with All Elite Wrestling.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the agreement will keep them there “through at least 2026.”
It was revealed on Being The Elite this week that the tag team is not medically cleared to wrestle following the Falls Count Anywhere match at Full Gear where they lost alongside Adam Cole to Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus. Nick has been working through an ankle injury but did further damage to it in the match while Matt is dealing with a neck injury.
The Young Bucks were among the names to help create the promotion with Tony Khan in January 2019. Since that time, AEW has become the second biggest wrestling company in the world.
The actual deal with the Bucks is a two-year extension starting January 1st, so this deal runs through 2024, not 2026.
