The Young Bucks Issue Challenge For Championship Match At Dynasty

The Young Bucks have been confirmed for the Wrestle Dynasty event at the Tokyo Dome on January 5. Wrestlers from NJPW, AEW, Stardom, CMLL, and ROH will be featured.

They will join several AEW stars at work on the upcoming show. Kenny Omega makes his in-ring return against Gabe Kidd, which could be the main event. Also on tap is Claudio Castagnolivs. Shota Umino, AEW TBS and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone in action, Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ricochet, and Yota Tsuji vs. Jack Perry.

On Tuesday morning, The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) sent in a video message to NJPW, declaring they want to challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Championships at the event. United Empire (Great-O-Khan & HENARE) are slated to defend the IWGP Tag Team Titles against the World Tag League winners at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4th.

The Bucks previously held the titles in 2018. At AEW Fright Night Dynamite, Private Party beat the Young Bucks to both win the AEW Tag Team Titles. They took time off as Nick has been working with a separated shoulder.
