AEW announcer Jim Ross received a lot of criticism from fans for his mistake during the live episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday. He was promoting next week’s Dynamite and accidentally referred to the show as “WWE Dynamite.”
He previously got criticism for calling AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega the WWE Champion.

Ross did take to Twitter to issue a statement regarding the error by writing, “Yep, I apparently made an untimely error tonight at shows end. No excuses. And I’m not quitting.”

It’s live TV and mistakes will happen. AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks had some fun in a positive way with the error when they changed their Twitter bio to promote their title defense against Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo next week by writing the following:
“Eddie & Penta, let’s see if you can beat us next week when it counts, on WWE Dynamite.”
