AEW could be forming a new faction built around one female star.
AEW continues to have strong factions, whether that be the Elite or what was the Blackpool Combat Club, that have been at the forefront of the promotion and on television. Deonna Purrazzo may be getting a renewed push soon as a result of a new faction.
Purrazzo signed with WWE in 2018 and worked for the company for two years before being let go in April 2020. She later joined Impact Wrestling in addition to working for other promotions, where she found success, as she has held the Impact Wrestling Knockouts, AAA Reina De Reinas, and ROH Women’s Titles.
Purrazzo’s contract with TNA Wrestling expired at the start of the year, and she became All Elite earlier this year. Her last match was a loss to Hikaru Shida on the September 6th episode of Collision.
PWInsider.com reports that there’s been talk of building a faction around Purrazzo. No other details were provided, including who else could be involved in the feud.
