There Is Still No Timetable For The Return Of Injured AEW Star

One AEW star has been absent from television for nearly a year due to injury.

The AEW WrestleDream 2023 pay-per-view event from Seattle, WA at Climate Pledge Arena saw then-AEW Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher). Coming out of the show, it was reported that Davis may have suffered a broken wrist, although the injury was never confirmed.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports Davis is still recovering from what sidelined him, but is progressing well. It was added, “What specifically put him out of action has remained quiet, and those close to the situation tell us that they’d prefer it if it was his story to tell, which we will respect.”

Fightful was told at no point had there been a timetable for a return that was known to anyone backstage. If there was, it was kept close to the vest.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
