Thunder Rosa has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling

After much hard work, Thunder Rosa has been officially signed by AEW to a full-time deal.

The signing, which had been expected for some time now, was confirmed by All Elite Wrestling on Thursday.

Rose first made a name for herself in Lucha Underground in 2015 until she departed in 2019. She also worked for ROH during this time. She then became a star in the NWA. When the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the NWA from holding events, the NWA owner Billy Corgan and AEW President Tony Khan worked out a deal where she could work for AEW.

Rosa made her debut on the August 22, 2020, episode of Dynamite where she challenged AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida for the championship at All Out. Since that time, she has worked on all of AEW’s programs – Dynamite, Dark, and Dark: Elevation.

One of the more memorable highlights of Rosa’s stint with AEW up to this point was her Lights Out Match with Britt Baker.

Aside from her in-ring work, she owns Mission Pro Wrestling, an all-female promotion, with former WWE star Carlene “Jazz” Moore-Begnaud.
