Thunder Rosa has been AEW Women’s Champion since March when she beat Britt Baker in a steel cage match at AEW St. Patrick’s Day Slam.
Since that time, she has feuded with the likes of Nyla Rose and Serena Deeb. She found herself in controversy when she was accused of ‘sandbagging’ as well as ‘no-selling’ Marina Shafir’s offense during a match on AEW Dynamite earlier this month.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour, Rosa dismissed the accusations in addition to noting that she has respect for all of her opponents. The two stars cleared the air as Rosa shared photos of the two breaking bread while backstage at a Dynamite event.
Rosa recently crossed the milestone of holding the championship for 100 days with 101 days.
Rosa will make her next title defense against Toni Storm at Sunday’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.
