Mercedes Mone going to AEW is just a matter of when not if.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp and Mat Men Radio’s Andrew Zarian have a new report following Tony Khan announcing he will make an announcement on next week’s Dynamite with the belief it could be the signing of Mone or a Boston date for Dynamite where Mone would then make her debut.
It was implied to them that the announcement was related to the impending appearance of Mone in AEW. However, they were not told that her signing would be outright mentioned as a part of the announcement.
Expectation
Some talent and those close to Mone believe the working plan is for her to appear for AEW in March, likely after Revolution on March 6th. It’s unclear when she could make an in-ring wrestling debut for the company.
Mone’s signing nor arrival was never considered to be announced last Saturday on Collision. WWE knew around December 29th that they were not going to sign Mone after talks broke down and likely would have been unable to perform at the Royal Rumble anyway.
The impression is that Mercedes has been signed with AEW for weeks, but that’s not confirmed.
