Title match announced for AEW Double Or Nothing, number 1 contender’s match announced for next week’s Dynamite
This week on AEW Dynamite, two of the top matches were set up for AEW Double Or Nothing.
It was announced that Hikaru Shida will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Dr. Britt Baker, DMD. Baker is the number 1 contender after winning several matches over the last few weeks on Dark, Dark: Elevation, and Dynamite.
During an interview segment with Kenny Omega, Tony Schiavone said that next week PAC will face Orange Cassidy on next week’s Dynamite and the winner will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. Omega laughed off the suggestion that Cassidy could be the person to challenge him for his title at the pay-per-view. Omega took Cassidy’s shades and gave them to Michael Nakazawa because he feels that Cassidy is trying to imitate him.
AEW Double Or Nothing will air live on B/R Live and on pay-per-view on Sunday, May 30.
