AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage will take place tonight from Broadbent Arena in Louisville, KY, before the promotion returns on Thursday night to tape Collision. At a time when AEW has been in decline with overall interest, the promotion will have a sell-out crowd on hand for the show.
The top bouts include AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. Powerhouse Hobbs and Casino Women’s Gauntlet Match for Women’s World Tiitle shot at February’s Grand Slam Australia. Kenny Omega vs. Brian Cage is also on tap.
WrestleTix, which does a great job of tracking ticket sales for all pro wrestling events, reports the show has distributed 1,064 tickets with 509 left for just over a 1,500 set up. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted that the show is on course for a sell-out as they can’t sell the upper deck due to obstructing the view. Here is the full card:
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
Casino Women’s Gauntlet Match for Women’s World Tiitle shot at February’s Grand Slam Australia
Kenny Omega vs. Brian Cage
Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) vs. Mark Briscoe and AEW Tag Team Champion Private Party (Quen & Zay)
Christian Cage vs. HOOK
Ricochet will speak live
They can't hit 2K at the Brady Music Center because the 500 people in the upper deck wouldn't be able to see the ring because it would be onstructed views.
This show is going to sell out, Collision will or will be close
They're configured for about 1500 https://t.co/IFZSbLNQq6
