Although Mone had talks with WWE about returning, they were reportedly far apart on the money with the decision to join the rival promotion.

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter to hype the episode. As seen below, he spelled Boston in an interesting way, making out boss, which was Mone’s former nickname as “The Boss” while in WWE.
