Apparently, there continues to be confusion about a new one-hour program presented by AEW.
There has been talk about adding an extra hour of programming by All Elite Wrestling. Some fans think AEW will add a third hour to its weekly Dynamite show. So much so that AEW executive Cody Rhodes had to shut down talk about this happening.
Following Saturday’s All Out, AEW President Tony Khan briefly talked about how they still have plans to launch a second television show during a conference call with the media.
Then, he took to Twitter to note that he was once asked during a meeting about whether he would be open to extending Dynamite, which he said no to the idea.
Khan also mentioned that the second show will be on a different night than Dynamite. He wrote the following:
“Yes it is. The third hour on TNT won’t be part of Dynamite, nor will it be on Wednesday. I was asked once in a network meeting if I’d ever have any interest in potentially adding a third hour to Dynamite, and I said definitely not, although I appreciated them asking the question.”
