AEW President Tony Khan appeared on the "In The Kliq (Pro Wrestling Podcast)" to preview this Sunday's Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.

Khan was asked how important it was for him to re-sign Jim Ross:

“It was hugely important," Khan said. "I think it’s drastically important. I would really like JR to continue his announcing career for a long time. When we launched, he was one of the most recognizable people. He continues to be known as probably the greatest wrestling announcer of all time. He’s a household name. Any household that has ever followed pro wrestling in the last several decades across a number of companies and a number of regions, I think JR transcends the sport of pro wrestling. Having his voice in AEW, on AEW Dynamite every week, and on our PPV, Double or Nothing, is really a big deal and he adds so much to the show.”

On the reports that Killer Kross talked with AEW about being one of MJF’s hand-picked opponents to take on Wardlow:

“I have talked to Killer Kross before. He’s a great guy. I love his voice. He’s got a great voice and honestly, he’s a great wrestler. He’s a big, powerful, fearsome guy. I am interested in him. I think he does great work. I would be open to him coming in at some point.”
