Adam Cole has been pushed as a top star since making his AEW arrival at the All Out pay-per-view event after he decided to not renew his contract with WWE in favor of making the move to the rival promotion.

Bruce Prichard reportedly came up with the idea to cut Cole’s hair and make him a manager for Keith Lee on the main roster if Cole stayed with WWE. In AEW, Cole has been aligned with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

A person on Twitter brought up the belief from some fans about how they think has regressed in AEW and would be the same people who would defend WWE’s booking for him if Cole had stayed.

AEW President Tony Khan chimed in by writing the following:

“It’s false equivalence, Will. They try to move the line with ridiculous points aiming to dispute the credibility of something credible. Adam Cole is over af, he’s pushed & has many more young fans watching him than he did on Tuesdays. Would we argue if they said water wasn’t wet?”

Last week on Rampage, Cole teamed up with Bobby Fish to take on Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta. As of this writing, Cole doesn’t have a match lined up just yet for Wednesday’s Dynamite or Friday’s Rampage.
