AEW President Tony Khan has teased that the company may be returning to the United Kingdom much sooner than fans expected. During an address to the live crowd at the recent AEW taping in Glasgow, Scotland, Khan hinted at adding another UK event to the schedule before next summer’s All In pay-per-view.
Tony Khan Teases An Earlier AEW UK Return
In a promo for the live audience at the OVO Hydro, Khan gauged the crowd’s reaction to the idea of a quicker return to the UK. After receiving a chorus of boos when he asked if he should “wait until next year to come back,” he hinted at a change of plans.
“Alright, based on that feedback, you know what? Maybe we don’t have to wait until next summer to come back to the UK,” Khan said. “Maybe we’ll speed things up just for you.”
Praise For The AEW Scottish Fans
Khan praised the Glasgow crowd, calling them potentially the “best wrestling fans in the entire world.” He promised that the company would continue to make the UK a regular stop on its touring schedule. AEW will hold Forbidden Door this Sunday, while All In 2026 is already scheduled to return to Wembley Stadium next August.
