Top AEW star begins heel turn on Dynamite

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara addressed the fans that turned their back on him. He says that maybe they did that because of who his girlfriend is and he told them to “be mad.”

Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky (with Dan Lambert) walked out to the ring to interrupt their promo. The Guevara-Conti heel turn has been coming for weeks and they have been leaning into the boos from the fans. The boos intensified this past Saturday at the Battle of the Belts special

This segment led to a match being set up for next week. It will be Guevara defending the TNT Championship in a Ladder match against Sky.
