Top AEW Star Said to Be “Ok” Following Brutal Spot in Forbidden Door Match

The AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event on Sunday night featured several incredible matches, such as Will Ospreay defeating Kenny Omega for the IWGP US Championship, Bryan Danielson defeating Kazuchika Okada in the main event, and more.

The Ospreay and Omega match was widely regarded as the best match of the night and is in the match of the year contender. It was a brutal match that saw them hit stiff moves and both be busted open.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez said that he was told Omega is ok after the bout following a spot where he was dropped on his head.

“For those wondering, I mean, the, the word is, that Kenny is ok, but I don’t know if he’s been checked out. I dunno if he’s gotten x-rays. I mean, there have been many, many times where guys have taken bumps. They have decided they’re ok, and then it turns out that there’s a break or something. I mean, I would have that checked out because that was, that was brutal. That tiger driver. Right on his head. Absolutely incredible.”
