Hangman Adam Page is set to take time off from AEW television following his loss to MJF in the Texas Death Match main event at AEW Revolution, according to FightfulSelect.com’s Sean Ross Sapp.
Page lost the match at Revolution on March 15 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, under a stipulation that permanently bars him from challenging for the AEW World Championship.
According to Fightful, the active plan is for Page to take time off from AEW programming. It is not yet clear whether the absence begins immediately or if he will appear on Dynamite in the coming weeks. It’s unclear how long the hiatus will take.
Page previously took time off following AEW Revolution in 2024 and returned approximately four months later. That absence also followed a storyline loss, making the pattern a familiar one for the former AEW World Champion.
Page has been one of AEW’s top performers since the promotion launched in 2019, holding multiple championships. For AEW, they will present the fallout of Revolution tonight with Dynamite and start the build for Dynasty next month.
