Top Star Taking Time Off From AEW Due To Injury

Following his eventful night at AEW All In: Texas this past weekend, Will Ospreay is reportedly scheduled to take some time off from the company.

Ospreay ‘Working Banged Up,’ Expected To Take Time Off

According to a new report, Ospreay has been “working banged up” recently and will be taking a hiatus to heal from his injuries. Those spoken to believe he will be out of action for over a month, though an exact timetable for his return is not yet known.

Storyline Exit At All In

Ospreay was written off of television during the main event of All In. After he and his partner, Swerve Strickland, defeated The Young Bucks earlier in the night, Ospreay came out during the main event to try and help “Hangman” Adam Page. He was overwhelmed by Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction and taken out, leaving the arena on a stretcher.

With Ospreay on the sidelines for the foreseeable future, it remains to be seen what is next for his tag team partner from All In, Swerve Strickland. After their victory over The Young Bucks, Strickland is now free to challenge for the AEW World Championship at any time, a right that was at stake in the match.
